I know! I am just as shocked as you are. It’s Foxtail Lounge and it lives up to its swanky name. It feels like a cross between Miami Beach and Hollywood. I’m here for all of it. It’s actually the first of its kind in Bakersfield. Skip to my recommendations!
My favorite nights out typically involve getting drinks with my girls and getting dinner or heading to a movie theater. Nothing ruins a night out like watered down cocktails or drinks with cheap liquor but Foxtail Lounge does not disappoint. Their drinks are amazing.
It’s classy and intimate. It’s perfect for a date night or night out with friends. Depending on your liquor of preference, your go-to drink will vary. The bartender and the servers are extremely helpful so let them know what you like and they’ll make the perfect recommendations for you!
I love anything with rum or tequila so my favorite drinks were the Tiki Tanaka and the Flor de Amor. I’m smiling as I type because I just got a flashback of my ear-to-ear smile when I tasted both drinks.
Without a doubt, I will be back. I plan on bringing friends, co-workers and honestly anyone who will join me! I’m not sure if we went on a less busy Saturday but there weren’t as many people and we didn’t have to wait to be seated. They have walk-ins available on Fridays and Saturdays between 6pm and 10pm. Otherwise, I would recommend calling in for a table before heading over. Besides, it wouldn’t hurt to be sure you have a table waiting especially over the weekend.
