As most of you know by now, I moved to California for work earlier this year. However, I recently got the opportunity to work remotely from Houston this summer!! I’m so excited to be back home with all my friends and family. Even more excited to discover all the new restaurants I’ve missed during my time away. I’m on a quest to find the best coffee shops to work from in Houston.
I’m more of a more quiet and spacious coffee shop worker. The loud coffee shops which are more for socializing than anything else aren’t really for me. I currently have four and will be updating the list so please put some suggestions in the comments below so I can try them out! If there are any you’re curious about but want someone else to try, let me know in the comments too! This new is hot of the French presses so let’s get into it!
Brass Tacks
I love the greenery in this coffee shop. There’s something about plants and their ability to lift up your mood especially when you’re working and could potentially be stressed. It’s airy and pretty with an outdoor patio as well. The staff here is kind and very helpful in making meal or coffee recommendations. They serve tacos, sandwiches, crêpes, fries and so much more. I haven’t had a meal here yet but you definitely need to get their London Fog! It’s so good. It’s usually quiet during work hours. Of all the spots I’ve visited, this is my favorite coffee shop to work from in Houston!

Tout Suite
My favorite thing about Tout Suite is its industrial space. It’s a huge space with lots of seating, outlets and laptop bars! They also cater to both sweet and savory food lovers. My favorite items to order off their menu and from their dessert case are avocado toast, macarons and croissants! You can pair of all these with coffee from their extensive list of coffee! I’m a simple girl so my go to is a latte with any syrup I’m feeling that day! They also have free wifi. It’s relatively quiet during work hours and it’s good for collaborative work. Stop by if you’re in EaDo!

The Coffee House at West End
This space is relatively new and it’s HUGE! It’s a two story coffee shop and there’s plenty of seating available. It’s usually pretty busy but its split into sections of people working quietly and people who are there to socialize so you can pick a “side”. They serve most pastries and have lots of coffee options! I love their lattes.

Blendin Coffee
This Blendin space is small but right outside the coffee shop there are tables on the 1st and 2nd floor of the building. It’s usually quiet and peaceful and you can work by yourself or with friends. My favorite items off their menu are their iced vanilla latte with white chocolate syrup, blueberry muffin and bagels! There are three locations in Houston. I go to the one on Allen Parkway.
